What is ESCAPE Tampa Bay?
ESCAPE Tampa Bay is a collection of unique ESCAPE units in an incredible location that offers a perfect combination of privacy and easy access to the Tampa Bay region. This is a new concept in 21st century living,sensitive to the new reality we live in, that is affordable, beautiful and environmentally sensitive. Each unit offers architectural details with thoughtful layouts that are perfect for anyone who loves convenience and comfort.
How many units are available?
The first phase of the Village is sold out. The second phase, known as the Oaks, will have 23 units featuring some with entirely new designs.
What is the location?
The Village sits just off a brand new, lighted four lane road (Hwy. 301) with direct access to I-4 and less than a mile from direct access to I-75. The University of South Florida is only 4.5 miles away, downtown Tampa is only 12 miles and Orlando and Sarasota are both less than an hour. You can walk to a grocery store, restaurants of all kinds and even fitness facilities...all within a short distance of the property. Because of the unique shape of the property, even with the great access, privacy is at a premium.
How much does it cost to buy a unit?

What is the lot rental cost in the park if I purchase an Escape unit?
Monthly lot rental rates vary by site. Please see Available Units for more information.
What if I want to rent a unit?

What is included in the lot rental rate?
The entire property has been redone and all of the utilities are new. Water, sewer and garbage/recycling, along with parking, are included free with lot and rental units. All units have their own laundry facilities and are completely climate controlled. Items not included in the monthly rent include power, internet/cable and propane assuming the unit uses LP.
What is the maximum number of people who can stay in a unit?
2-4 people depending on the unit.
What about pets?
For owners of units, small, well-behaved pets are allowed. One pet per unit.

Where do visitors park?
All visitors park in designated spaces near the entry.
Can I rent a lot and put my own mobile home or RV on the lot?
No. ESCAPE Tampa Bay is exclusively for ESCAPE units that are specifically built for lots at ESCAPE Tampa Bay.
Are people of any age welcome?
Yes. Families, couples, seniors or singles are welcome. All owners and renters must be at least 18 years of age.
What about hurricanes?
On November 11, 2020 hurricane ETA made almost a direct hit on the Tampa area...damage to the Village was zero, other than a tipped over plant on a deck. It should be noted that the Tampa Bay area is one of the least hurricane prone areas in Florida. The last major hurricane to hit the area was 100 years ago. In addition, the units in the Village are not like typical RVs...they are built like a house plus they are strapped down. While this does not preclude damage from a hurricane, it does make it less likely.
If I own a unit, can I rent it out?
Yes, as long as the rental period is more than 6 months. We can help with finding a renter.
