  • What is ESCAPE Tampa Bay?
    ESCAPE Tampa Bay is a collection of unique ESCAPE units in an incredible location that offers a perfect combination of privacy and easy access to the Tampa Bay region. This is a new concept in 21st century living, sensitive to the new reality we live in, that is affordable, beautiful and environmentally sensitive. Each unit offers architectural details with thoughtful layouts that are perfect for anyone who loves convenience and comfort.
  • How many units are available?
    The first phase of the Village is sold out. The last second phase, known as The Oaks, has also sold out. Please click on Available Units to see if any resale units are available.
  • What is the location?
    ESCAPE Tampa Bay sits just off a brand new, lighted four lane road (Hwy. 301) with direct access to I-4 and less than a mile from direct access to I-75. The University of South Florida is only 4.8 miles away, downtown Tampa is only 12 miles and Orlando and Sarasota are both less than an hour. You can walk to a grocery store, restaurants of all kinds and even fitness facilities...all within a short distance of the property. Because of the unique shape of the property, even with the great access, privacy is at a premium.
  • How much does it cost to buy a unit?

  • Can I buy an ESCAPE unit to be delivered elsewhere?
    Yes! Please see
  • What is the lot rental cost in the park if I purchase an Escape unit?
    Monthly lot rental rates vary by site. Please see Available Units for more information.
  • What is included in the lot rental rate?
    The entire property has been redone and all of the utilities are new. Lot Rental includes water, sewer, garbage/recycling, private deck(s), landscaping maintenance, security (gated access) and parking. Items not included in the monthly rate include power, internet/cable and propane assuming the unit uses LP.
  • If I own a unit, can I rent it out?
    Yes, as long as the rental period is more than 9 months. We can help with finding a renter.
  • What if I want to rent a unit?
    Please click here: Also, please read this information carefully: 1. All rental agreements are for 9-12 months. One year leases automatically renew assuming there are no issues or problems. 2. Rent amounts vary by unit. 3. The rental rate includes everything except power and internet/cable and gas, if applicable. There are no other fees. 4. Sorry, no pets are allowed in rentals. 5. We run background checks on all potential renters. 6. There is no rent to own program. 7. The units can accommodate 2-4 people, depending on the unit. 8. Renters insurance is required 9.   • What is the maximum number of people who can stay in a unit?
    2-4 people depending on the unit.
  • What about pets?
    For owners of units, small, well-behaved pets are allowed. One pet per unit.
  • Can I rent a lot and put my own mobile home or RV on the lot?
    No. ESCAPE Tampa Bay is exclusively for ESCAPE units that are specifically built for lots at ESCAPE Tampa Bay.
  • I want to purchase a unit at ESCAPE Tampa Bay, what do I do?
    Please visit the Available Units page. If you have questions, just contact us at and a sales rep will get back to you promptly.
  • Where do visitors park?
    All visitors park in designated spaces near the entry.
  • Are people of any age welcome?
    Yes. Families, couples, seniors or singles are welcome. All owners and renters must be at least 18 years of age.
  • What about hurricanes?
    On November 11, 2020 hurricane Eta made almost a direct hit on the Tampa area...damage to the Village was zero, other than a tipped over plant on a deck. On September 28th, 2022 hurricane Ian hit the Gulf Coast...again, there was no damage. It should be noted that the Tampa Bay area is one of the least hurricane prone areas in Florida. In addition, ESCAPE units are not like typical RVs...they are built like a house plus they are strapped down. While this does not preclude damage from a hurricane, it does make it less likely.
