What is the ESCAPE Village Tampa Bay?

The Village is a collection of unique ESCAPE units in an incredible location that offers a perfect combination of privacy and easy access to the Tampa Bay region. This is a new concept in 21st century living sensitive to the new reality we live in that is affordable, beautiful and environmentally sensitive. Each unit offers architectural details with thoughtful layouts that are perfect for anyone who loves convenience and comfort. In addition, there are multiple EscapeSpace units on site which are private spaces designed for work or private relaxing.

How many units are available?

The initial number of units is 10. The number of units for sale may be limited as some of the units may be rentals.

What is the location?

The Village sits just off a brand new, lighted four lane road (Hwy. 301) with direct access to I-4 and less than a mile from direct access to I-75. The University of South Florida is only 4.5 miles away, downtown Tampa is only 12 miles and Orlando and Sarasota are both less than an hour. You can walk to a grocery store, restaurants of all kinds and even fitness facilities...all within a short distance of the property. Because of the unique shape of the property, even with the great access, privacy is at a premium.

How much does it cost to buy a unit?

What is the lot rental cost in the park if I purchase an Escape unit?

Monthly lot rental rates vary by site and range from $400/mo. - $600/mo. Please see Available Units for more information.

What if I want to rent a unit?

We are about sold out and there is one units coming up for rent at $1150/mo. Please email us at sales@escapetampabay.com if interested. Also, please read this information carefully: 1. All rental agreements are generally for 6-12 months...short term are possibe but rates per month are higher. One year leases automatically renew assuming there are no issues or problems. 2. Rent amounts vary by unit. 3. The rental rate includes everything except power & internet/cable. There are no other fees. 4. Sorry no pets are allowed in rentals. 5. We run background checks on all potential renters 6. There is no rent to own program 7. The units can accommodate 2-4 people, depending on the unit. 8. Renters insurance is required 9. What is included in the lot rental rate?

The entire property has been redone and all of the utilities in the Village are new. Water, sewer and garbage/recycling, along with parking, are included free with lot and rental units. All units have their own laundry facilities and are completely climate controlled. Items not included in the monthly rent include power, internet and propane assuming the unit uses LP. IMPORTANT NOTE: These units are very power efficient and some even have solar power.

What is the maximum number of people who can stay in a unit?

2-4 people depending on the unit...some will sleep up to 6.

What about pets?

For owners of units, small, well-behaved pets are allowed. One pet per unit.

I want to purchase an Escape unit in the Village, what do I do?

Where do visitors park?

All visitors park in designated spaces near the entry of the Village.

Can I rent a lot and put my own mobile home or RV on the lot?

No. The Village is already complete and is exclusively for ESCAPE units.

Are people of any age allowed to live in the Village?

Yes. Families, couples, seniors or singles are welcome. All owners and renters must be at least 18 years of age.

What are the EscapeSpace units?

These are units designed with work-from-home in mind. These are private spaces, rather than large multi-spaces, that individuals who are owners or renters in the park can use as an office or just a place to get away and relax. They are fully climate controlled and vary in style. There are decks connecting the units that can be used as an outdoor office or relaxation area.

What about hurricanes?

On November 11, 2020 hurricane ETA made almost a direct hit on the Tampa area...damage to the Village was zero, other than a tipped over plant on a deck. This is not the first time ESCAPE units have come through a hurricane unscathed. They are tough and built to last. It should be noted that the Tampa Bay area is one of the least hurricane prone areas in Florida. The last major hurricane to hit the area was 100 years ago. In addition, the units in the Village are not like typical RVs...they are much stronger and built like a house plus they are strapped down.
